By using Merchant Audit ("we", "our", "the service"), you agree to these terms.

0. Seller

The service is operated by Ces Vincent Tejas, a sole proprietor based in Finland, trading as Merchant Audit. References to "we", "our", or "the service" in these terms refer to this seller. By using the service, you are entering into a contract with Ces Vincent Tejas.

1. The service

Merchant Audit provides automated audits of e-commerce stores against publicly documented Google Merchant Center policies. Results are informational and do not guarantee approval, eligibility, or non-suspension by Google. We are not affiliated with Google.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for activity under your account. Keep your credentials confidential. You must be of legal age to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction.

3. Payments & subscriptions

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Audit URLs you do not own or have authorisation to audit
  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose, fraud, or spam
  • Infringe intellectual property rights of others
  • Probe, scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with our service or infrastructure
  • Distribute malware or attempt to circumvent security measures

5. Intellectual property

We retain all ownership of the service, our software, documentation, and branding. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service within your selected plan. No reverse engineering, resale, or redistribution.

6. Service level & warranties

The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

7. Limitation of liability

We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special damages including lost profits, data, business, or goodwill arising from use of the service. Our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where prohibited by law.

8. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for: material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated policy violations. On termination, your access ends and your audit data may be deleted after a reasonable export window.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Finland. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of Finland, unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer protection law of the consumer's country of residence within the European Union.
